The Creek Chub Husky Musky was introduced just before 1920. Mainly made for muskie fishing, it has a metal lip and twp large treble hooks (Catalog series #600) The lure is around 5 inches long and weighs approx 1 1/2 ounces. Sold until the mid 1950’s the lure went through some various improvements and changes. It can be valued at up to $300 depending on condition and age and original packaging. A catalog describes the bait as:
“The husky Musky bait is for musky fishing. Has large strong hooks and exceptionally large screw eyes. Made strong yet light enough to cast. When reeled slowley it kicks up an awful fuss on the surface. Has big wiggle below surface. Will catch more Muskies and large fish.”
Colours include: 600 Natural Chub, 601 Natural Perch, 602 Withe with Red head, 607 Natural Mullet, 618 Silver Flash.
