The Heddon River Runt was produced from the late ‘1920’s to the early 1950’s The catalog states “A small, compact, lively lure for light rods. Very effective for river fishing, particularly for Small Mouth Bass, and equally good in other waters for all game fish. A slow sinking bait with an attractive wiggling motion. Regularly equipped with two sets of treble hooks; also obtainable with double on the belly and single on the rear. Length is 2 5/8 inches. Weight is about 1/2 ounce. Packed one in a box.” It was not a very popular lure, but can fetch a price of up to $100 depending on age, condition and box quality. Catalog # 110 Recently one went for over $400 on ebay.
