The Paw Paw Plunker was introduced in the late 1920’s is a smaller version of the Paw Paw Popper. and was approximately 2″ Long. There seems to be several varieties of this lure. Value is $15-$50 depending on condition. Among collectors there seems to be confusion between the Plunker and the Popper.

The original Paw Paw Plunker lure had a spherical body with a concave face, a single treble hook, and was made of wood. When the lure glides through the water, its concave face makes a characteristic “plopping” sound that can be quite effective at drawing fish to it.
